General
This Ibanez RGIR27FE is the brother of the RGIR27E, but the difference is that this guitar has a Gibraltar fixed bridge. This 7-string instrument has been designed for heavier rock music and is perfect for metal, from shredding to propelling chords. The neck greatly contributes to the high playability of the RGIR27FE as it is a Nitro Wizard-7 neck, made of maple and bubinga. The rosewood fretboard is fitted with 24 jumbo frets.
Ibanez RGIR27FE: EMG sound power
The company EMG ensures you that you won't have to worry about the electronics. Its two 707 humbuckers are mounted to the neck and the bridge. For years, these humbuckers have been a valuable component of 7-string guitars and really know how to handle the wide range of this RGIR27FE. Even the sound of the low B string is transferred to the amplifier with a great punch and sharp attack. The pickup switch and volume knob allow you to adjust the sound to your liking. The kill switch is a great addition, especially live, for an almost stroboscopic effect.

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
