General

One look at the Jackson JS-Series JS32 Kelly tells you all you need to know; this is not the type of instrument that excels in versatility. Equipped with high-output Jackson Zebra humbuckers, a comfortable neck and a stable Floyd Rose Licensed tremolo, this pointy guitar with its Snow White finish was purposely built for heavier music genres. Its body has been designed to make even the highest frets easily accessible, and its compound-radius fretboard allows for tight riffs near the nut as well as quick leads up at the twelfth fret. Go to town with the guitar's double locking tremolo as much as you want; you won't affect its tuning stability. In short, if you're looking for a thoroughbred metal monster, the Jackson JS32 Kelly is just what you need.

The JS 32 Kelly: construction

Underneath its Snow White finish, the JS32 Kelly's body is made of poplar, a wood type that resembles alder in tone. The resulting well-balanced core sound is nicely complemented by the warm overtones produced by the electric guitar's 24-fret amaranth fretboard. Thanks to a graphite-reinforced truss rod, the maple neck is exceptionally stable. To cater to real speed demons, the JS32 Kelly has a compound fretboard radius and jumbo frets, allowing for lightning-quick fingerwork.

Hardware and pickups

A guitar with a striking shape like the JS32 Kelly obviously raises certain expectations. Fortunately, Jackson delivers with quality hardware and pickups. For starters, the guitar features two high-output Jackson Zebra Humbuckers that are perfect for heavier music genres. Furthermore, a graphite-reinforced neck lends the instrument great stability, while a Floyd Rose licensed double locking tremolo completes the picture. In short, this metal monster is ready to rock out!
