General
A 7-string electric guitar is ideal for hard rock and heavy metal music. These models are becoming more common and more affordable nowadays too, just like this black RRX24-7 by Jackson. It has the iconic asymmetrical Rhoads shape, a reverse headstock and shark fin position markers. Needless to say, this model is ready for action twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week!
RRX24-7: optimal playing comfort
The Jackson RRX24-7 has a number of characteristics that make it extremely comfortable to play. The 24 jumbo frets on the rosewood fretboard are all easily accessible thanks to the neck-thru construction and the compound fretboard radius, a feature often found on more expensive American models. A standard scale length of 25.5 inches, makes it easier to transition to this model from a 6-string. The RRX24-7 has a Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge for excellent tuning stability.
Jackson Guitars
The renowned American brand, Jackson Guitars, was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson, and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson. Jackson guitars have an elegant design, a sharp headstock, shark fin position markers, and a powerful sound that’s perfect for metal and hard rock. The X series offers affordable versions of the most popular Jackson guitar models.
