The combination of a soft matte and glossy Cinnabar Red finish allows the wood grain to shine through, just like a vintage nitro finish. For instance, the guitar comes with two custom DPT Wilkinson R Series single coils, specially tuned for this model. The bridge pickup (8K, Alnico V) gives you a sharp, pronounced tone for funk, pop or blues. And the neck pickup (7K, Alnico V, open coil) provides a warm, rounded clean sound perfect for session work. With the Sprague Orange Drop capacitor and treble bleed circuit, your sound remains clear and defined, even at lower volumes. Plus, bends are smooth to play on the C-profile neck and intonation remains reliable thanks to Wilkinson tuners.
