General

Now and again, Jackson wants to offer their fans even more than they already do, which is what they've done with this Monarkh series. The SCX Monarkh Quicksilver is an electric guitar that continues the tradition of this renowned guitar-builder, which is good news for shredders and metal guitarists! With a mahogany body and pickups that can handle high output and lots of gain, a neck designed to facilitate fast fingering and heavy riffs, and an awesome appearance, any other guitar simply pales in comparison. At first glance, the SCX classic single-cut guitar lets you know, you'll have a killer in your hands.

SCX Monarkh Quicksilver: blinding and deafening

The silver finish on its mahogany body looks amazing, but at the end of the day, it's all about the High Output pickups, which are made in-house by Jackson. These pickups reproduce every tone clearly, including those at high speed and with lots of gain. The three-way switch allows you to select your favourite preferences, and two volume knobs and a master tone lets you control the rest. Finally, using the Tune-o-matic bridge, you can fine-tune your SCX Monarkh to precision.

Speed and comfort

It's range is impressive with 22 frets, and because they're jumbo, a slight amount of pressure is enough to produce sounds of sonic genius. The neck has a compound radius, which means it's round and narrow at the first frets, and becomes increasingly flatter and wider as you move upwards, making mind-boggling solos even easier to lay down. Around the 22nd fret, the specially-rounded heel makes it easy to slide your hand up and down the neck as well. Thanks to the reversed mother-of-pearl shark fin position markers, you'll always know where you are on the fretboard.
