General
Metal legend Scott Ian knows exactly what he wants from his instruments. That's why Jackson Guitars collaborated with him again to create another special model. The result is this X Series Scott Ian KVXT in Ivory that combines the tight lines of the King V with retro styling. It has a rosewood fretboard with block-style position markers and a traditional pickguard on the body. This rugged metal guitar is surprisingly affordable too.
Scott Ian KVXT: high level of playing comfort
It's unusual for a guitar in this price range to have a neck-through construction that connects the maple neck to the mahogany body. This makes each of the 22 jumbo frets easily accessible. The compound fretboard radius that flattens out higher up the neck, also adds a high degree of playing comfort. The Jackson TOM-bridge and stable Jackson machine heads provide a high level of tuning stability. Finally, two potent Duncan Designed humbuckers deliver the sort of powerful sounds you'd expect from a special Jackson model.
Jackson Guitars
The renowned American brand, Jackson Guitars, was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson, and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson. Jackson guitars have an elegant design, a sharp headstock, shark fin position markers, and a powerful sound that’s perfect for metal and hard rock. The X series offers affordable versions of the most popular Jackson guitar models.
