General
The Schecter Apocalypse C-7 FR S Red Reign has been designed for guitarists who demand maximum performance in modern metal and rock productions. Thanks to its lightweight swamp ash body, the glued multi-layer maple/padauk neck with Ultra Access and the fast Thin C profile, this guitar offers excellent playability across the entire neck. The 26.5-inch scale length ensures tight string tension, ideal for low tunings and powerful riffs. With its striking Red Reign finish and black hardware, this guitar is ready for the heavier stuff, both visually and technically.
Powerful pickups and Sustainiac
The electronics are designed for maximum versatility within heavy music genres. In the bridge position is a passive Schecter USA Apocalypse-VII humbucker, renowned for its powerful output, tight bass response and clear definition. In the neck position is a Sustainiac system that allows notes to be sustained for virtually unlimited durations. Using the dedicated switches, you can easily choose between different Sustainiac modes, including Fundamental, Mix and Harmonic. Together with the volume, tone and intensity controls, this offers extensive tonal possibilities for both rhythm work and expressive solos.
High-quality hardware
The hardware is also fully optimised for intensive stage and studio use. The Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo enables extreme vibrato effects without losing tuning stability. The Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuning machines ensure precise tuning, whilst the 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets offer a long service life and a smooth playing experience. The guitar comes factory-strung with an Ernie Ball 7-string string set (.009–.062). For safe transport, the optional Schecter SCSGR-1C case is available separately.
