General
The Schecter Banshee Mach-7 Evertune is a high-quality 7-string electric guitar for guitarists seeking a modern, powerful playing experience. The body is crafted from swamp ash with a flamed maple top, whilst the one-piece neck is made from roasted maple and purpleheart in a multi-ply construction. The Ultra Access neck-to-body joint ensures comfortable access to the higher frets, right up to the 24th fret. The ebony fretboard features stainless steel X-Jumbo frets and an Ultra Thin U-shaped neck profile. With its 26.5-inch scale length, this guitar is also ideally suited to the lower tunings popular with 7-string guitars.
Lundgren M7 pickups
For a powerful and defined tone, the Banshee Mach-7 is fitted with two Lundgren M7 pickups. There is an M7 humbucker in both the bridge and neck positions, giving you a solid foundation for modern metal, whilst also offering sufficient clarity and dynamics for other styles. The controls consist of a volume and tone control with push-pull function and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The combination of the two humbuckers with the long scale length makes this guitar particularly well-suited to tight riffs, heavy chords and technical lead playing. The Fallout Burst finish and Black Chrome hardware give the guitar a distinctly modern look.
Evertune F7
One of the key features is the Evertune F7 Model bridge. This system is designed to keep the guitar extremely stable in tuning, even during intensive playing. The Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuning machines also ensure precise tuning adjustments. The 48 mm wide nut provides ample space for the seven strings, whilst the 12 to 16 inch compound radius supports a comfortable transition from rhythm to lead playing. The guitar comes with Ernie Ball 7-string strings in gauges .009, .011, .016, .026, .036, .046 and .062. The matching Schecter SCSGR-1C case is available separately.
