General

The Schecter Banshee Mach-7 is a high-quality 7-string electric guitar for guitarists who want to master modern metal and other heavy music styles down to the last detail. This left-handed model combines a Swamp Ash body with a beautiful Flamed Maple top and a through-neck construction. Thanks to the Ultra Access neck-to-body joint, the area around the highest frets is also easily accessible. The 26.5-inch scale length provides extra string tension and definition for the low seventh string, whilst the Ultra Thin U-neck profile ensures a fast and comfortable playing experience.

Lundgren M7 pickups

In terms of tone, the Banshee Mach-7 is fitted with two Lundgren M7 humbuckers, one in the bridge position and one in the neck position. These passive pickups are designed to deliver a powerful, tightly defined sound with plenty of punch and clarity. This makes the guitar ideal for modern metal riffs, tight palm-mutes and distinctive lead parts. The 24 X-Jumbo frets are made of stainless steel and sit on an ebony fingerboard with a compound radius of 12 to 16 inches. The combination of the wide 48 mm nut and the 7-string configuration also provides ample space for complex chords and low-tuned parts.

Hardware and finish

The Hipshot Ibby HM Guitar Bridge provides a stable base for the seven strings, whilst the Schecter Locking tuners ensure reliable tuning. The hardware is finished in Black Chrome and complements the guitar’s Fallout Burst finish beautifully. The neck is made from multi-layered Roasted Maple/Purpleheart and features carbon fibre reinforcement rods. The guitar also features Luminlay side dots and offset/reverse Roman numeral inlays. The Ernie Ball 7-string strings are factory-fitted. The matching SCSGR-UNIV1 case is not included and is available separately.
