General

The Schecter Damien Platinum-6 is a powerful electric guitar for guitarists who love a striking look and a robust sound. The Satin Black finish is combined with Satin Chrome hardware, a silver/platinum multi-layer binding and the distinctive Platinum Bats inlays. The body is made of mahogany and features a arched top. The glued three-piece maple neck is fitted with Ultra Access, allowing you to comfortably reach the higher frets. With a 25.5-inch scale length, Thin C neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets, this Damien provides a comfortable foundation for a wide range of playing styles.

Active EMG humbuckers

For a powerful and direct sound, the Damien Platinum-6 features an active EMG 81 in the bridge position and an active EMG 85 in the neck position. The EMG 81 delivers a tight and aggressive tone that really comes into its own with heavy riffs and high-gain amplification. The EMG 85 sounds fuller and warmer from the neck position. With the volume and tone controls and the 3-way switch, you can quickly switch between different tone options. The active electronics are powered by a 9V battery, for which there is a handy clip-in battery compartment.

Tune-O-Matic with String-Thru-Body

Unlike the FR version, the Damien Platinum-6 is fitted with a Tune-O-Matic bridge with String Thru Body. This gives you a fixed bridge construction without a tremolo, ensuring direct string response and a stable foundation whilst playing. The Grover tuners ensure precise tuning. According to the product specifications provided, the guitar comes fitted with D’Addario Regular Light NYXL 1046 strings (.010–.046). A matching case is not included, but the Schecter SCSGR-1C is available separately. This makes the Damien a standout choice, both visually and technically, for fans of heavy music.
