General
The Schecter Hellraiser C-8 is a high-quality 8-string electric guitar for guitarists who need an extra-wide tonal range and a powerful, modern sound. The mahogany body features a beautiful Quilted Maple top and is finished in a deep Black Cherry colour. Thanks to the glued mahogany neck with Ultra Access, you’ll enjoy comfortable access to the higher frets. The extra-long 28-inch scale length ensures tight string tension and clear definition, particularly on the lower strings. The Thin C neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets support comfortable and technically demanding guitar playing.
Active EMG 808 pickups
The Hellraiser C-8 is fitted with two active EMG 808 pickups, in both the bridge and neck positions. These powerful pickups are split-capable, offering additional tonal possibilities alongside their solid and well-defined basic sound. The combination of two active humbuckers and the extended 8-string configuration makes this Schecter particularly well-suited to modern and heavy music styles. The active electronics deliver a clear and powerful output signal, whilst the long scale length helps ensure that even the lowest strings sound tight and distinct.
Fixed Hipshot bridge with String Thru Body
The Hipshot Hardtail bridge with String-Thru-Body construction provides a solid foundation for direct sound transmission and stable tuning. The strings run through the body, which contributes to the guitar’s solid response. In addition, the Hellraiser C-8 is fitted with Schecter Locking tuners. The Black Chrome hardware complements the Black Cherry finish beautifully. The guitar comes strung as standard with Ernie Ball 8-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom #2624 strings. A matching Schecter SCSGR-1C case is available separately and is not included.
