General

The Schecter Hellraiser C-8 Black Cherry LH has been designed for left-handed guitarists who want to combine the extended range of eight strings with a powerful, modern tone. The mahogany body features a beautiful Quilted Maple top and is finished in a deep Black Cherry colour. Thanks to the long 28-inch scale length of 711 mm, the low strings remain tight and well-defined. The glued-in neck construction with Ultra Access also offers comfortable access to the higher positions on the fretboard. With its striking appearance and solid construction, this Hellraiser is a serious guitar for musicians seeking a broad musical range.

Active EMG 808 pickups and extensive tonal possibilities

This Hellraiser C-8 LH is fitted with two active EMG 808 humbuckers, with both the bridge and neck positions featuring an identical pickup. These pickups deliver a powerful output signal, clear definition and a tight response in the low frequencies. As a result, the lower strings in particular come into their own with heavy amplification and high-gain sounds. The pickups can also be split for additional tonal possibilities. The controls consist of two volume controls, a tone control and a 3-way switch. This makes the guitar particularly well-suited to metal and other modern rock styles where definition, sustain and a powerful sound are important.

Comfortable neck and reliable hardware

The 3-piece mahogany neck features a comfortable Thin C profile and is fitted with carbon-fibre reinforcement rods for added stability. The rosewood fingerboard has 24 X-Jumbo frets and a 16-inch radius, whilst the nut, with a width of 54 mm, provides ample space for the eight strings. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction contributes to a direct response and good sustain. Schecter Locking tuning machines make tuning easy and reliable. The guitar is strung with an Ernie Ball 8-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom #2624 set. A matching SCSGR-UNIV1 case is available separately.
