This undaunted 8-string axe sports a sleek, modern finish and features a graduating scale length that transitions from 26.5 to 28 inches so you can do much more than simply sling extreme metal riffs and leads. Strandberg also thoughtfully include a Venture gig bag, an NX multi-tool and a hex key.
The Boden Metal NX 8: Ergonomic EndurNeck Profile + Flexible Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers
The mid-rich foundation sound of the snug basswood body can be turned into flexible tone thanks to the Fishman Fluence Modern ceramic bridge humbucker and matching alnico neck humbucker. In addition to the option to toggle between an active and passive voicing, these pickups can even be coil-split for extra sparkling cleans. Meanwhile, the highly ergonomic, patented EndurNeck is a relief for any fretting hand yet still offers ample grip and control for exploring the full range of this multi-scale 8-string guitar and, while the strings are locked in at the zero fret, they're also easily tuned up down at the stable .strandberg* EGS Rev 7 fixed bridge.
