Full Passive Mode and Upgraded Modelling Engine

After having carefully listened to user feedback, VOX have decided to integrate a fully passive mode in the Type 1 Plus. This means that it can be used as a traditional electric guitar without the need for a power supply to power the modelling/DSP chip. The sounds have been overhauled as well to give you more inspiration while you play and are overall even better than before, making this Starstream perfect for session work since it's basically a synth, acoustic and electric guitar in one. A Piezo and Magnetic Pickups for a Rich Sonic Spectrum

For that traditionally authentic guitar sound, the Starstream Type 1 Plus is mounted with magnetic pickups but also comes with a piezo in each string saddle to faithfully emulate acoustic guitars. A power DSP system is the driving force behind all of the superior sounds offered and makes sure there's no latency. In addition, this futuristic guitar is equipped with a smooth-swinging tremolo and the nine banks filled with instruments (three variations each, plus two user banks) let you save six of your favourite sounds for a satisfying playing experience in the studio, on the stage or at home.
