The Pacifica 611H by Yamaha is the big brother of the Pacifica 311H. At first glance, they might seem like the same guitar, but the PAC611 is equipped with top quality Seymour Duncan pickups. The pickups are comprised of a P-90 at the neck and a humbucker at the bridge for a versatile sound. This electric guitar also features six Graphtech String Saver saddles that help to keep your strings from easily breaking. Furthermore, the Pacifica 611 is equipped with Grover locking tuners for a stable tuning and quick string changes. All in all, this is an incredibly complete, versatile guitar with the outstanding Yamaha reliability and quality.

The Seymour Duncan SP90-1N at the neck is based on the original P-90 pickup from the '50s. It has a lot of output and powerful mids that give it a wicked sound that really cuts through the mix. At the bridge you'll find a Seymour Duncan Custom 5, a classic '50s Alnico 5 humbucker with extra output and deeper lows. The Pacifica 611H is equipped with a push-pull tone knob so you can split the humbucker to a single-coil for a cleaner, brighter sound that's ideal for funky riffs and country twang.

Reliability of Graphtech

The saddles of the Yamaha Pacifica 611H are made of a special composite of graphite and Teflon. These String Saver saddles, in combination with the TusQ XL nut and the graphite string guides by Graphtech, ensure that the strings stay in optimal tuning. Thanks to the self-lubricating properties of this material, your strings won't stick in the nut or break on the saddles, which is typical when strings cut into metal saddles.
