The Yamaha HS8 is the successor to the well-known HS80M. This solid, active studio monitor supplies a space-filling sound, even in large studios, without any screech or thumping. Yamaha designed the HS series to produce a neutral, faithful sound, without any deceitful, pumped up frequencies. The HS8 offers a lot of dynamic headroom, so you can enjoy a good reproduction of the mixing balance without any distortion, at any time.
The Yamaha HS8: Wide Range
Thanks to the respectable 8-inch diameter, the characteristic white woofer has no problem whatsoever with the reproduction of low basses. The HS8 does is capabale of 42 Hz up to frequencies beyond human hearing range and to increase the efficiency of the speaker, has no magnetic shielding built in since placing it near current models of flat-screen monitors no longer causes magnetic interference. The HS8 has a rich 120 Watts of power and is the perfect all-rounder.

These are excellent! Overall good sound with no hiss. They look great and they're a good price.

Ik heb deze speakers nu al bijna 4 a 5 jaar volgens mij, wat toen een fllinke investering was. Maar ik heb er geen moment spijt van gehad, het blijft echt een top product. De kwaliteit van het product zelf en het geluid wat eruit komt is echt insane.
Heel eerlijk denk ik zelf dat ik deze gewoon voor de rest van mijn carierre kan blijven gebruiken!
De frequency range is zeker daar!
Er zijn al meerdere nummers mee gemaakt die de miljoen hebben aangetikt kwa streams, zeker het geld waard als je het aan mij vraagt!
Heel eerlijk denk ik zelf dat ik deze gewoon voor de rest van mijn carierre kan blijven gebruiken!
De frequency range is zeker daar!

Kijk je hebt dus audiofielen die heel veel geld steken in bi-wiring / amping, kabels en noem maar op.
Maar die kennen deze gem niet. Sluit dit aan op een fatsoenlijke Audio interface, zet de ruimtelijk op stands. Anderhalf meter van de muren. En je hebt voor minder dan 900 euro een bi-amp set speakers met een fenomenaal geluid en plaatsing. Niet doorvertellen ;-).
Mijn setup: Zoom U-44, Dynaudio stands en 2 van deze…

We gebruiken deze in onze studio. De gehele speaker is van goede kwaliteit en met de grotere cones ook een fijne laag. Verder klinken de speakers goed neutraal en transaparant dus ideaal voor het mixen.

De Bax website geeft snel en eenvoudig wat je zoekt. Duidelijke product beschrijving + vergelijken. De Yamaha HS8 biedt meer dan men uit zo'n 8" boxje zou mogen verwachten. Geluid = strak, gebalanceerd, evenwichtig vlakke frequentie karakteristiek, een genot om naar te luisteren, rustgevend. Goed opstellen is misschien belangrijk, met de Innox IVA MON-05 luxe tripod monitor statief lukt dit prima op oor-hoogte, mits men de ruimte heeft. Aan te bevelen.
