General

If you have a larger home studio, or if there isn't enough room available for an extra subwoofer, you can benefit from the power and components that Yamaha's HS8 has to offer. This set includes two active monitors, along with a set of practical MoPADs by Auralex.

Special features of the HS8

The HS8 is equipped with a large 8-inch woofer that can reproduce a good deal of ultra-low frequencies. Of course it's also important to have sufficient amplification if you want to give your woofer the optimal setup, and Yamaha's taken care of that too with a built-in bi-amp amplification module that sends a total of 120 watts to the components to ensure optimal performance.

Auralex MoPADs

Auralex MoPADs are the ideal companions for your studio monitors. They help avoid resonance and they isolate everything between your monitor and table top, so you don't have to deal with pesky vibrations that could negatively influence your sound. Additionally, MoPADs can be used to angle your monitors up or down, so you can adjust them in detail for optimal sound. Now you can always find the sweet spot for the best performance from the Yamaha HS8 monitors.

They were out of stock for a reason!!

These are excellent! Overall good sound with no hiss. They look great and they're a good price.

These monitors are a wide frequency response, giving a pretty honest, flat sound which is great for all types of music!

Definitely recommend!

Excellent! These are great monitors for recording and mixing.

This monitor has a wide frequency response and is not hyped, giving a pretty flat and honest sound - which is a good thing.

Overall good sound with no hiss. Good looking monitors at good price. Recommended.

Ik heb deze speakers nu al bijna 4 a 5 jaar volgens mij, wat toen een fllinke investering was. Maar ik heb er geen moment spijt van gehad, het blijft echt een top product. De kwaliteit van het product zelf en het geluid wat eruit komt is echt insane.
Heel eerlijk denk ik zelf dat ik deze gewoon voor de rest van mijn carierre kan blijven gebruiken!
De frequency range is zeker daar!
Er zijn al meerdere nummers mee gemaakt die de miljoen hebben aangetikt kwa streams, zeker het geld waard als je het aan mij vraagt!

J'ai acheté ces blocs de mousse pour découpler des enceintes surround Atmos déposées sur des meubles ou des étagères, pour éviter que des vibrations soient communiquées à ces derniers. Cela remplace avantageusement les petits pieds en caoutchouc habituels, et permet aussi certains réglages d'inclinaison optimale. L'enceinte est mieux stabilisée et risque moins des déplacements indésirés !
Jusqu'à présent ( seulement quelques jours d'utilisation ), aucune remarque négative à formuler, cela fait le job comme on dit, mais il faut avouer que vu le type d'enceinte ( surround en milieu domestique ), la sollicitation des haut-parleurs n'est pas énorme !
Mais par contre, l'utilisation de ces blocs de mousse sur un pied, comme illustré en photo, ne m'inspire pas confiance.
J'espère que la matière résistera un temps raisonnable ( quelques années ! ) sans perdre ses caractéristiques ... les mousses alvéolées du type polyuréthane n'ont pas toujours une bonne réputation ... souvent justifiée !
