The Ovation 1773AX-4-G from the Legend Series is no ordinary classical guitar: it feels light, sounds warm and has a unique look thanks to its round Lyrachord body. Thanks to its solid top made of 'AA-grade' cedar, this guitar's sounds come into their own, from deep basses to sparkling arpeggios. And the story behind it makes it even more fun: once, Paul McCartney received a Legend as a gift from his wife for Christmas!

Classic guitar with extras

Playing immediately feels familiar thanks to the Pau Ferro fingerboard and the comfortable cutaway, which allows you to easily reach the higher frets. As if the guitar didn't have enough to offer on its own, Ovation has also incorporated an OCP-1K pickup with OP-Pro preamp. These ensure that the 1773AX-4-G sounds as good amplified as it does unplugged. With a 3-band EQ that lets you fine-tune the amplified sound in detail, as well as a built-in tuner. And with the high-quality Hannabach strings, you have everything you need for Spanish etudes or even more appropriately thanks to McCartney: Blackbird by the Beatles! This classic Ovation 1773AX-4-G offers flexible, legendary and full character, both acoustic and amplified.
