General

Ortega's RCE125SN is an electro-acoustic classical guitar from the attractively-priced Family series. Unlike standard classical guitars, this model has a narrower neck that makes it as easy to play as an electric guitar. The string nut measures 48 mm and the body has a cutaway too which makes the higher frets more easily accessible. The body is also thinner which improves the playing comfort of this classical guitar. An Ortega deluxe gig bag is included as well.

RCE125SN: modern, dynamic and amplified sound

The RCE125SN has a robust construction and the neck is exceptionally stable thanks to its lightweight truss rod that turns in 2 different directions. The guitar has a spruce top that gives it a modern classical sound which reacts well whether you play it with your fingers or use a plectrum. As an electro-acoustic model, you can plug this guitar into an amplifier too thanks to the piezo pickup under the bridge and the MagnusPro-NL preamplifier. The preamp has a phase switch to prevent any problems with feedback, a built-in tuner and a 3-band EQ so that you can tweak your sound to perfection.

De gitaar heeft een goede klank, het speeld lekker. de gitaar zelf is best goedkoop kwa prijs, maar dat zie je niet terug in de gitaar zelf, een aanrader!

De gitaar is heel netjes afgeleverd, geen krasje te bespeuren. Ik ben iemand die terug de draad oppikt na 20 jaar niet gespeeld te hebben. Mijn keuze was op dit akoestisch model gevallen omwille van de veelzijdigheid en mijn voorkeur voor nylon strings. Met een cut out en slim neckline kan je toch nog veel stijlen beoefenen en makkelijker aan die hoge noten.

Na een aantal dagen spelen ben ik heel blij van de prijs/kwaliteit. Deze gitaar motiveert me elke dag opnieuw te oefenen. Ik heb nog niet versterkt gespeeld, maar dat was voor mij ondergeschikt, eerder een "good to have". De tuner werkt prima en is heel handig om snel naar een nieuwe stemming over te schakelen.
