Takamine maintains the tradition of its popular G Series by offering a high-quality classical guitar for an exceptionally low price in the form of this GC5CE-NAT. This guitar is the electro-acoustic version of the GC5-NAT. This means it's fitted with a built-in pickup and a preamplifier, making it suitable for acoustic as well as electric use without having to mess around with separate microphones. It also features an elegant Venetian cutaway, allowing you to easily reach the highest frets.

Takamine GC5CE-NAT: made from the right stuff

This nylon-string guitar has a solid top instead of a top with laminated wood, which is often used for budget guitars. The GC5-NAT has a spruce top and its back and sides are made of beautifully grained black walnut. The comfortable neck is made of mahogany and features a 19-fret laurel fretboard. This wood combination and the strong dovetail joint result a very full, dynamic sound with deep bass, sweet mids and clear trebles.

TP-4T preamplifier with on-board tuner

The electronic heart of the GC5-NAT consists of a built-in pickup and Takamine's TP-4T preamplifier. There's a gain knob to control the volume and a 3-band equalizer that lets you adjust the bass, middle and treble. In short, you have everything you need to create your perfect sound. There's even a built-in digital chromatic tuner with a practical LED display. This allows you to tune your guitar, even on the darkest stages.
