With the TC132SC, Takamine bring one beautiful version of the traditional sound of classical guitar to the 21st century. This high-quality Japanese guitar features innovative gadgets and, as expected of the maker's master-builders, each example has been finished with the utmost care and a keen eye for detail. Besides being able to hear this, the Pro Series TC132SC has the playability and exuberance to prove its premium character, as well as the specifications to match. This electro-acoustic model is equipped with a solid cedar top, solid rosewood back and rosewood sides. Add to that the mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard and you're looking at a rich tonal recipe and a huge dynamic range that's beautifully fit for classical music, jazz, bossa nova or one of the many other styles of music suited for the warm sound of nylon strings.

CoolTube CTP-3 Preamp

Considering the impressive design of its preamp, the TC132SC is clearly built for on-stage use. The CoolTube CTP-3 differs from 'regular' built-in preamps thanks to the use of a 12AU7 tube, which runs on a low voltage and doesn't get hot (hence the name). The tube adds a few welcome layers of warmth to the amplified sound, and even if you do feel like certain frequencies need a bit of tweaking, there's always the highly extensive tone controls section. Using the auxiliary input and volume control, the TC132SC can also be upgraded with a second pickup for an even more versatile sound. In short, this superior guitar offers more than enough options to perfect your sound and comes complete with a case.
