General

Yamaha present the NCX5: an premium electro-acoustic classical guitar that feels instantly familiar but looks and sounds refreshingly modern. This all-solid model has a comfortable neck width, profile and a snug body that comes topped with first-rate European spruce combined with a walnut body for a luxurious foundation sound with refined trebles and accurately shaped lows. It's this that makes this brilliant Yamaha guitar a great choice for modern styles such as nuevo flamenco.

The NCX5: Naturally Amplified Sound

The amplification is taken care of by an Atmosfeel preamp system and starts with the capturing of the sound of the strings. The responsibility for this is shared by a piezo pickup and a built-in microphone. Since piezo pickups can sometimes struggle to accurately register the highs, these are picked up by the microphone while the piezo completes the sound by adding in the lows and mids. Of course, you can dial in your personally preferred tone by using the Blend control, while the bass EQ knob lets you adjust the lows if needed.

De Yamaha NCX5 is een in Japan gebouwde gitaar. Hij speelt gemakkelijk, gelijkmatig en is netjes afgewerkt. Het sterke punt van deze gitaar komt naar voren bij versterking. Akoestisch gezien is de gitaar nogal middelmatig. Het steekt net iets boven het maaiveld uit maar is in in geen enkel opzicht een top gitaar. Dus zoek je een top gitaar akoestisch dan zou ik iets meer geld uitgeven.

Na lang zoeken heb ik eindelijk de ideale gitaar gevonden.
Het moest een klassieke cutaway zijn, die even mooi klinkt dan de beste concertgitaar en zeer gemakkelijk speelt. De NCX5 doet het allemaal. De perfecte Yamaha afwerking maakt het er tevens een kunstwerk van,dat je graag in je woonkamer laat zien.
