Blending traditional build techniques with modern perks, this edition of the Yamaha OG Series CGX122MS electro-acoustic classical guitar features the articulate dynamics and bright accent of a solid spruce soundboard, which pulls the best out of the pre-fitted nylon strings. Finished with a walnut fretboard and the familiar and comfy playability of a 52mm-wide nut, and coated in a muted matte varnish, this understated yet high-quality instrument is the ideal stage-ready tool for intermediate guitarists.
The Yamaha CGX122MC: Set up for Stage & Studio
Yamaha have kitted the CGX122MS out with a System73 preamp and piezo pickup, removing the need to mike up this guitar on stage and allowing you to plug it directly into an acoustic amplifier or audio interface. Mounted on the upper shoulder and within easy reach, the preamp control panel provides a set of bass, mid, treble and volume controls as well as a handy tuner, fully setting up this model for the studio and the stage.

Ik zocht een elektrisch/acoustische gitaar om op te trreden voor een ouder publiek.
Omdat ik nogal wat fingerpicking doe is een klassieke gitaar met brede nek (5,2 cm) beter dan een western gitaar met smallere nek.
Zeer tevreden over de klank van de Yamaha en de versterking.
Ik heb de actie (afstand tussen frets en snaren ) wat vermidnerd door de kam wat af te vijlen, en het speelt nu erg soepel.
