Finished with a walnut fretboard and the familiar and comfy playability of a 52mm-wide nut, and coated in a muted matte varnish, this understated yet high-quality instrument is the ideal stage-ready tool for intermediate guitarists.

The Yamaha CGX122MC: Set up for Stage & Studio

Yamaha have kitted the CGX122MC out with a System73 preamp and piezo pickup, removing the need to mike up this guitar on stage and allowing you to plug it directly into an acoustic amplifier or audio interface. Mounted on the upper shoulder and within easy reach, the preamp control panel provides a set of bass, mid, treble and volume controls as well as a handy tuner, fully setting up this model for the studio and the stage.
