With the SLG200 Series, the Yamaha Design Laboratory aims to combine the elegant contours of a classical guitar with modern playability. As such, the side of this SLG200N model is removable to make it much lighter and many times more compact than a standard guitar. This, along with a relatively thin body, gives the Silent Guitar the same level of playing comfort as an electric guitar.
