General

The Guild D-140CE electro-acoustic dreadnought puts superb sound within reach of those with a more modest budget. Part of the Guild Westerly Collection, this model is shaped by a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides that frames clean, full and fresh tone. A C-profile neck, flat fretboard radius and wide string nut offer more than satisfying playing comfort while details like the mother-of-pearl soundhole rosette, black and white purfling and deep sunburst finish are more than easy on the eye.

The D-140CE: Fishman Sonitone Preamp

The tightness, transparency and depth of the acoustic sound is registered and amplified by a Fishman developed Sonitone GT-1 pickup system that functions as a built-in active preamplifier, adding an extra injection of power to the overall sound, which can be customised using the discreetly placed volume and tone controls.
