Ibanez JSA20 VB Signature Model: Solid Wood

With its JSA series, Ibanez expands the Joe Satriani Signature models into acoustic guitars. The JSA20 Vintage Burst is an electro-acoustic guitar with a distictive 'JSA' body shape. The top is made with solid Engelmann spruce and the back and sides with rosewood. Ibanez selected these specific wood types to ensure this guitar gives a full character with sufficient treble and mids and a good sound transfer. The JSA20-VB has a 20-fret, mahogany neck, attached to the body at the 14th fret. The fretboard is made of ebony with abalone inlays and the headstock of this electro-acoustic guitar bears the signature of Joe Satriani.

Fishman Acoustic Matrix Pickup

The Ibanez JSA20-VB is equipped with a Fishman Acoustic Matrix pickup with an Ellipse Fishman Aura Pro preamplifier. The original Joe Satriani sound has been set as the 'signature preset'.
