The AEG-1: An Innovative Build

The AEG-1 features a patented neck support system where the neck is no longer supported by the back and soundboard of the guitar. This unique construction gave L.R. Baggs the freedom to fully optimise the resonance chamber, which has resulted in a satisfyingly slim build that shapes surprisingly rich sound. The increased structural integrity forces more string energy towards the top of the guitar, expanding the dynamic range while deepening the sound and boosting the tuning stability.

HiFi Pickups and a Studio-Quality Silo Microphone

The electronics encompass a completely discrete, studio-grade preamp with a multi-pole crossover system that teams up the HiFi pickups and Silo microphone to guarantee spot-on sound in any position. This versatile system can go from direct and natural sound to open, airy sound and everything in between, so expect the same sonic warmth, tonal clarity and noise-free sound as other LR Baggs electronics.
