General
The Yamaha FG7 MX Natural is a premium electro-acoustic dreadnought, built in Japan for guitarists seeking plenty of dynamics, projection and clarity. Thanks to the solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X-bracing, every stroke comes through clearly and directly from the soundbox, making it ideal for vigorous strumming and accompaniment. The solid African mahogany sides and back complement this with warm lows, a pronounced mid-range and beautifully rounded overtones, naturally ‘lifting’ your vocals. Add to that the comfortable, rounded V-shaped mahogany neck, and you have a guitar that invites you to keep playing.
Naturally amplified and luxuriously finished
Do you want the same sound live as you do unplugged? The Atmosfeel™ pickup system is designed to capture the natural voice of the FG7 MX as purely as possible, with a clever combination of piezo (low), microphone (low/mid) and contact sensor (high). The finish is also top-notch: an ebony fingerboard and bridge ensure a crisp response, whilst a bone nut and saddle contribute to balance and sustain. Subtle Japanese design details (such as the washi label and distinctive inlays) add character, and with Gotoh open-gear tuning machines, you’ll stay in tune. Includes a sturdy hardshell case.
