The Yamaha FSC-TA Electro-Acoustic: The Finer Details

The Yamaha FSC-TA is plugged into an acoustic amplifier or PA system via the jack output integrated into the lower strap button. This automatically activates the battery-powered System70 preamp, the battery compartment for which can also be found discreetly fitted just behind the strap button. The preamp system has been combined with a Yamaha SRT Piezo pickup and the built-in reverb and chorus to deliver dynamic and sparkling, stage-worthy sound, which can be adjusted as needed via the three neat pots planted on the upper shoulder. Whether amplified or acoustic, the sound of this superior model is shaped by a solid spruce soundboard; mahogany sides and back; a nato neck and rosewood fretboard.
