General

Fender is adding Limited models to the Standard and Deluxe guitars in their Paramount series. That includes this special PM-1 Dreadnought electro-acoustic that has a solid Adirondack spruce top. It has a back and sides made of solid mahogany and is available in a limited number only. This model is based on Fender's classic steel-string guitars from the '60s which can be seen in its beautiful design features.

Paramount PM-1 Limited Mahogany: lively, rich and warm

The lively, rich sound produced by the Adirondack spruce top is complemented by the warmth provided by the mahogany neck, back and sides, and the sweetness from the rosewood fretboard and bridge. The result is a sound with a wide frequency range and a big dynamic response. Thanks to the Fender/Fishman PM system preamp the sound is delivered accurately to an amplifier. The preamp features controls for the volume, bass and treble, has a phase potentiometer and even a built-in tuner. A Deluxe hardshell case and a humidifier are included with this PM-1 Limited Edition model.

Fender Reveals Paramount Limited Edition Adirondack Models

Fender is expanding their Paramount series with four top-quality limited edition electro-acoustic steel-string guitars. These new PM-1 Dreadnought and PM-3 Triple-O models have a top made of solid Adirondack. After that, there's the choice between solid mahogany or solid rosewood back and sides.
