The Gretsch G5022CBFE Rancher Jumbo an electro-acoustic guitar for anyone who's ready for the next step towards 'That Great Gretsch Sound'. The brand dug deep into their roots and rediscovered the Rancher series, which was produced in the fifties and included models that stood out with their triangular sound holes and decorative pickguards. This Jumbo with stylish black lacquer is the biggest of this new, modern series, and can offer the most volume and the heaviest bass tones.
The G5022: Isys III Preamp
The Gretsch Rancher Jumbo is an electro-acoustic instrument that can be amplified easily thanks to a built-in Isys III preamp by Fishman. Simply plug it into a mixer or acoustic guitar amp, and you're good to go! Adjust your sound with the volume, treble, mid, and bass controls. The preamp is also equipped with an integrated tuner.
The acoustic sound and finish
The solid spruce top of this steel-string produces a sound that can carry far, and the wood type provides a balanced, clear tone. The fretboard features thumbnail position markers and the highest frets are within easy reach thanks to the cutaway. This guitar also has gold-plated hardware and a laminated maple back and sides. With a beautiful shape and a powerful sound, it truly is the best of both worlds!
