General

Ibanez had already introduced fanned frets in their bass guitars and electric guitars, but the AELFF10 is the first electric-acoustic model with these kinds of frets. Thanks to their fanned-out positioning on the rosewood bridge, the strings vary in tension. The low strings feel extra tight, thanks to the 26.75" scale length, while the high strings feel much smoother to play with their 25" scale. As a result, playing this guitar is a very intuitive affair that will please technical guitarists especially.

AELFF10: rich sound and excellent playing comfort

The Ibanez AELFF10 has a surprisingly thin 106mm-deep body, giving this steel-string guitar a remarkably comfortable feel. Despite the slender body, however, you'll still be able to enjoy a rich sound. That's because the AELFF10's body might be quite thin, but it's also quite large, and it features a spruce top and rosewood back and sides. This allows for sparkling trebles and deep, warm bass. Thanks to high-quality components, like Grover tuners, a bone string nut and D'Addario strings, excellent tuning stability is ensured.

Fishman Sonicore

A Fishman Sonicore pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp take care of the amplified sound, while leaving the guitar's natural, acoustic sound unaffected, of course. They even include a built-in 3-band EQ, so you can adjust your sound if the venue's acoustics call for it. Of course, the built-in tuner is also a great help in getting the perfect sound. For extra versatility on stage, the Ibanez AELFF10 even has a balanced XLR output.

Ibanez AELFF10-NT Fanned Fret E/A steel-string guitar natural

Wrote the following about Ibanez AELFF10-NT Fanned Fret E/A steel-string guitar natural
Qua geluid:

Overall: 8.5/10.
