This electro-acoustic comes with a pickup built in so no awkward microphones are needed since it can be jacked directly into an acoustic amplifier or PA. The Takamine GN10CE-NS: NEX Body Style

The steel string GN10CE has a NEX body shape that makes it feel compact and comfortably round in your hands. While comparatively slim, this G-Series acoustic has a voice as big as that of a fatter dreadnought model and little wonder, since the resonance box (the body) is built using mahogany back and sides and a spruce top while the mahogany neck is finished in a velvety-feeling natural matt lacquer and extra small and subtle position markers.

The Preamplifer and Other Features

The electronics of the GN10CE are driven by Takemine's very own TP-E preamplifier. This simple yet powerful little preamp gives you control over you tone, volume, and gives you a mid-cut (for feedback reduction) and a built-in digital tuner. Finishing this brilliantly built guitar is a pin-free bridge that makes string changes swifter than ever.
