The Vintage Raven is a unique electro-acoustic steel-string guitar designed by British guitarist, Paul Brett, who took the inspiration for the guitar from the eponymous poem written by Edgar Allen Poe and his own Monarch. The core of the Vintage VRA900EA Raven is formed by a double-bound acacia body with a contrasting sitka spruce top, while a matte black finish and the special sound hole give it a stylishly Gothic look.

Brett has opted for a mahogany neck with a subtle V-shape and a skilfully-made 18-fret pau ferro fretboard for optimum playing comfort. This, combined with the acacia and sitka spruce used to craft the body, guarantees a warm, bright sound with outstanding resonance, making the Raven perfect for fingerpickers, singer-songwriters and blues guitarists. While it's not as spooky as its source of inspiration, this parlour-shaped guitar is eerily versatile and comes fitted with a Vintage preamp with a 3-band EQ, a piezo pickup, and a built-in tuning device.
