General

This black Yamaha LL6 ARE is an electro-acoustic western guitar made for optimal comfort and sound with high-quality standards. Yamaha's guitar artisans brought together a number of ingenious elements in the making of this instrument. Starting with the basics, this gem has a solid Engelmann spruce top for good volume, clarity and balance. Added to that is an SRT Zero Impact contact pickup, so you can easily amplify your guitar in the studio or on stage, while it still retains its acoustic looks and sound. Overall, this instrument is a versatile pop/rock tool.

Yamaha LL6: What is ARE?

ARE stands for Acoustic Resonance Enhancement, which is a wood-processing procedure developed by Yamaha to give new guitars that rich, full vintage sound. By precisely controlling the temperature, moisture and air pressure, ARE actually changes the molecular makeup of the wood to match the wood found on guitars that have been played for years. It's a well-known fact that wood only gets better with time, and you'll have a head-start with the LL6 ARE!

General Characteristics

The jumbo style body guarantees a good dose of volume, and thanks to the improved internal bracing, the low frequencies get a nice boost without sacrificing the clarity that this Yamaha series is known for. The neck has also gotten a new and improved design, and features a 5-piece mahogany and rosewood structure with an adjustable truss rod for a great combination of focus, comfort, resonance and stability. You won't have to worry about warping or twisting either. This black Yamaha really has something for everyone!
