Yamaha CPX1000 Natural Electro-Acoustic Guitar

The Yamaha CPX Series already comes with some hefty credentials. As such, this CPX1000 electro-acoustic guitar comes endowed with superb playing comfort and an elegantly rounded body shape supported by a satisfyingly slim neck that would even suit electric guitarists. The acoustic sound is balanced across the frequency range and this is clearly amplified by the integrated System63 SRT preamp and piezo pickup.

The CPX1000: Shaping

The CPX1000 has a solid spruce top with maple back and sides. The set-in neck is made of nato and has a rosewood fretboard that features mother-of-pearl diamond shape inlays. Rosewood has also been used for the bridge. Overall, the sound produced is well-balanced with light creamy, bright accents.

System63 SRT, A.F.R and Tuner

The System63 SRT preamplifier and the piezo pickup not only accurately reproduce the sound of this steel-string acoustic but offer controls over a 3-band EQ and volume. Three microphone simulations are even included to send the tone through a virtual Neuman U67, KM56 or the Royer R-122. A Focus/Wide control gives you the power to fully customise the acoustic sound and a Blend control adjusts the mix between the pickup and the mic-simulation. The natural acoustic sound can be emphasised using the Resonance pot and an ever-essential Auto Feedback Reduction function and built-in tuner also come included.
