General

The Yamaha FSX830C BS is an electo-acoustic steel-string guitar with a classic Brown Sunburst finish. It's a concert model, which means it's more compact than a Dreadnought. It offers a rich, resonant tone thanks to the solid top that only sounds better with age. It has a built-in preamp that's easy to amplify by plugging it directly into an acoustic amp or a PA system.

Balanced sound

For the past fifty years, Yamaha have been producing FG guitars with great success. This concert-style FS model was developed as the more compact alternative, and today it is one of the best-selling steel-string guitars in the world. The excellent finish and sturdy construction result in a pleasant, balanced sound. Over the years, Yamaha have made various enhancements to the series, including a scalloped bracing for more pronounced bass and mid tones and a slender neck with rolled fret edges for higher playing comfort. Finally, the 830 range are all equipped with rosewood sides and backs and adorned with an abalone soundhole rosette for that extra bit of luxury!

Wrote the following about Yamaha FSX830C BS Brown Sunburst electro-acoustic steel-string guitar

Dag na de bestelling al ontvangen

De gitaar is zeer goed afgewerkt, met oog voor details. Een mooi vol en helder geluid, zeker voor een gitaar die iets compacter is in vergelijking met een dreadnought.

Verder was de gitaar vanuit de fabriek al redelijk goed afgesteld. De fijnafstelling heb ik zelf nog even gedaan.

Wat vooral opvalt, is het speelgemak. De gitaar ligt goed in de hand en is makkelijk te bespelen.

Geen grote kast die in de weg zit en de hals voelt snel aan.

De versterking is ook zeer goed.

Genoeg instelmogelijkheden op de gitaar om het geluid aan te passen, wat zorgt voor een uitstekend geluid dat door de speaker te horen is.

Zeer tevreden met de koop!
