General

The Yamaha LL16D ARE black is an electro-acoustic jumbo size stell-string guitar built with precision. This completely solid wood guitar has a specially treated Engelmann spruce top. Less common than sitka spruce, Engelmann is much sought after for its lightweight, refined wood grain and excellent resonance. In combination with the rosewood sides and back, this instrument offers a lot of musical power. Additionally, this guitar features a beautiful tortoiseshell pickguard, abalone bindings and gold-plated tuners.

Yamaha LL16D ARE: SRT Zero Impact and Neck

The outstanding sound of the LL16D ARE can easily be used for recording and live shows, thanks to its SRT Zero Impact pickup system. This system flawlessly registers your playing and dynamics and is comprised of smaller piezo pickups dedicated to each string. Since it's free of any tiny parts and extra hardware, this guitar retains a clean, classic look free of any visible electronics. Jack this guitar into an acoustic amp and adjust the tone there. Another sleek addition is the 5-piece neck, with a traditional and comfortable profile and ebony fingerboard that provides supple playing and effortless string bending.

Acoustic Resonance Enhancement

Yamaha developed a complex wood treatment to build the LL16L. To mimic the richness of sound produced by matured wood, a fresh piece of Engelmann spruce is treated with a precise cocktail of temperature, air pressure and moisture in order to change the molecular makeup of the wood to age and enhance it. This process of Acoustic Resonance Enhancement means that every LL16 ARE that leaves the factory is immediately endowed with the rich tone of a guitar 20 or 30 years its senior. Finally, this versatile Yamaha lefty guitar comes with a soft case. This outstanding Yamaha has excellent playability and comes with a soft case.
