General

Take home a luxury electro-acoustic guitar with the Yamaha LS6M ARE. This guitar has a natural finish and a top made of solid wood to ensure optimal sound. A single piece of wood resonates better than several laminated parts, after all. The LS6M ARE's solid top is made of Engelmann spruce, which produces a loud, open sound. The sides and back of the guitar are made of mahogany.

Yamaha LS6M ARE: Thoughtful Construction

The LS6M ARE's 5-ply neck is made of rosewood and mahogany. Neck and body are integrated for a powerful sound, and this construction also makes the neck insensitive to twisting or warping. The body of the LS6M features modified bracing, ensuring the clarity that is characteristic of the L series, while the response and low frequencies are increased. The neck profile was designed to provide maximum grip and smooth playability across the entire length, and a rosewood fretboard with optimal string spacing provides the finishing touch.

Acoustic Resonance Enhancement

ARE, or Acoustic Resonance Enhancement, is a special type of wood-processing technology by Yamaha. Temperature, moisture and air pressure are regulated to manipulate the wood, producing those ideal playing characteristics that you typically only get from vintage guitars. Seeing as guitars get better as the years go by, you've got a headstart with the LS6M ARE!
