General
The lightweight Roland CY-16R-T V-Cymbal ride is fully compatible with any Roland V-Drum kit, setting it up with an organic and expressive playing feel that comes as close as it gets to an acoustic ride. The V-Cymbal ride boasts a balanced and realistic stick response whether striking the bow or the bell and can even be set up to serve as a crash, since it's just as responsive to edge strikes. While the cymbal can be hooked up to any V-Drum kit, the more nuanced sounds that can be triggered depending on how and where the bow is hit are only accessed when it's couple with more advanced modules that support the specific CY-16R-T pad type, like the TD-27.
