General
The Alesis Nitro electronic drum kit is ideal for beginners and advanced drummers alike. It consists of a dual-zone snare drum pad, three tom pads, three cymbal pads, a bass drum pad and two pedals. You can assign any of the 385 different drum and percussion samples to these pads. There are also 40 pre-programmed kits available. This kit offers the same feel as an acoustic kit.
Alesis Nitro drum module
At the heart of this kit is a Nitro drum module that's equipped with all the samples as well as 60 built-in tracks and an aux input so you can play along with your favourite songs from a CD or MP3 player. The coaching mode consists of various rhythms and patterns in varying tempos so you can really tighten your groove. This module also has USB and MIDI connections so you can use the Nitro as a virtual instrument in your DAW, or as a MIDI controller.
Compact
Compared to a regular drum kit, the Nitro is extremely compact. Its four-legged aluminium rack offers great stability and makes it easy to move or reposition the kit. Another advantage of this kit is that it produces fewer decibels and has a headphone output so you can practise in silence. It can also be connected to an amplifier by means of the stereo jack output. Finally, there is space on the rack and the module to expand this kit further with an optional tom or cymbal pad.
