General

The Yamaha DD-75 is a compact, digital tabletop drum kit. With the DD-75, you can drum anytime and anywhere, as this model can be powered by either a separately available AC adapter or six C-type batteries. The built-in speakers provide sufficient volume, should you want to jam in the park on a beautiful summer day, for example. At home, you can also choose to practice with headphones. The DD-75 is easy to mount on most snare drum stands. Yamaha supplies this set including a set of drumsticks.

Yamaha DD-75 compact electronic drum kit

Like its predecessor, the DD-65, the DD-75 features eight touch-sensitive drum pads. The touch sensitivity of the four cymbal pads and four tom and snare pads can be adjusted separately, which makes dynamic playing well possible. The DD-75 comes with two pedals - for the hihat and bass drum. These are included, of course. You have 75 pre-programmed drum kits at your disposal and have the space to compile 10 more different kits yourself. In addition, you can choose from no less than 570 different sounds. The DD-75 has MIDI inputs and outputs, allowing you to use the instrument as a MIDI controller in combination with your favourite DAW programme.

Wrote the following about NUX DA-30BT 30W Personal Drum Monitor with Bluetooth

This is a substantial bit of kit. Bought for my son to practise his drums. Provides an excellent sound quality of both the drums and also the bluetoothed music to play along to. A little heavier than we expected and somewhat larger than I had pictured but then perhaps I should have read the dimensions more clearly. This will be an excellent bit of kit for all his drumming needs for a long time to come.

"Ik heb de Fazley DB41 drumkruk nu een aantal weken in gebruik en ik ben over het algemeen erg tevreden. Het draaimechanisme werkt soepel en de kruk is gemakkelijk in hoogte te verstellen, wat ideaal is voor verschillende speelposities. Wel heb ik één nadeel ervaren: de schroef waarmee het zittingvlak vastgezet wordt, komt helaas telkens weer los. Dit is jammer, want daardoor moet ik hem regelmatig opnieuw vastdraaien. Al met al een fijne kruk, mits je de schroef goed in de gaten houdt."
