This ATV Electrorganic aFrame is an electronic percussion instrument like nothing we've ever seen before, as it can simulate the same playing feel and response of an acoustic instrument! You can play the aFrame as a cajon, djembe, bongo, frame drum, or conga on your lap, on a snare drum stand or even on a shoulder strap! It boasts 80 sounds for you to play that you can also edit and store.

Adaptive Timbre Technology

To achieve the authentic feel of an acoustic instrument, ATV have incorporated various sensors in the aFrame that are engineered to pick up every nuance your playing. This is known as Adaptive Timbre Technology, and it means when you apply a particular playing technique - striking, pushing, gliding or rubbing - they will be analysed in real-time and matched up with the corresponding acoustic samples!

ATV Electrorganic aFrame

The aFrame's playing surface is made of a special type of polycarbonate that reacts and feels like a traditional percussion drumhead. The frame is made of bamboo, which not only looks great, it also contributes to the familiar feel of the instrument.

Connectors

ATV have equipped the Electrorganic Percussion aFrame with various connection options, including a stereo headphone output. To amplify this instrument, there are left and right mono outputs. It also comes complete with a power adapter for use at home, in the studio or on stage, but it's also possible to connect a powerbank and use the aFrame unplugged! Last but not least, there's a microSD card slot as well so you can make backups of all your sounds and settings.
