Classically well built, solid Boss pedal, that does exactly what it says on the tin. I was struggling with too much low end on my humbucker pickups and needed a little high-mid boost to cut through the rest of the band. If you focus more on cutting rather than boosting, and just tweak the pedal volume a tiny bit, you really don’t get too much hiss at all. Oh, and great service from Bax as usual! 🙂

Fantastic pedal, really great at emphasising the exact tone you want out of your instrument. I personally use it at the beginning of my signal chain, but it works perfectly as a solid boost should you choose to use it for that or anywhere else in your chain due to the option of increasing or decreasing level by 6db. This does what it says on the box! A great equaliser in standard pedal size, ideal for shaping your guitar sound quickly. I play a lot of classical guitar, and though purists would hate me for it, I love to be able to boost up the bass for some of those slow baroque pieces, and to bring out a brighter tone for the more upbeat music. Of course, it's also fab for all other types of guitar too.
