The Golden Age Audio EQ-73 Premier is a three-band eq based on the legendary 1073 console eq. You can see and hear that, and its gently sloping curves allow you to boost ridiculously without sounding unnatural. The EQ-73 Premier is not entirely stuck in the past, so it deserves a prominent place in the modern studio. Indeed, the three bands have more frequencies to choose from than the original and each band can be individually switched on and off. Thanks to its compact 9.5-inch size, you can mount two of them side by side in a 19-inch rack using a separately available Unite mount. In short: a great equaliser to mould the sound of your instrument or voice during recording or in the mix.
