The Warm Audio EQP-WA might well be considered the natural heir to the original Pultec EQP-1A tube equaliser. This unit not only shares the great looks and finish of the ever popular forerunner, but it has the sound to match. The guts of this faithful tribute to the 1A even includes the widely acclaimed CineMag transformers as well as a set of Class-A tubes and a completely separate circuit ensures that you're getting a mix with way more life than is possible with an 'inside the box' approach. Besides these salient details, one of the biggest benefits when considering picking up a EQP-WA is that it comes at a fraction of the cost of the Pultec EQP-1A.

Wrote the following about Warm Audio EQP-WA Tube Equalizer

What a fantastic piece of kit, I sat on the fence for so long debating about one of these units, I always ended up just making do with the plug version, which is good, but the hardware unit is in a complete class of it’s own and I am so glad I bought it.
It really has made a massive difference.
As good as the plug version is the actual outboard gear is a night and day difference.
Paired with my Warm Audio 1176 and LA2A, my vocal chain is virtually radio ready with very little left to do at the mix stage.
Top marks also to Bax for great pricing and speedy delivery.
