General
The Golden Age Audio EQ-81 MK3 is a versatile eq with a classic sound. The gently sloping curves are borrowed from the famous British 1081 console equaliser and give you +/- 18 dB of tone shaping power. The configuration consists of a high and a low shelf with two mid-bands in between. Thanks to the adjustable Q-factor of the mid bands, the EQ-81 is not only a colour box but you can also go pretty chirpy. The EQ-81 has a compact size of just 9.5 inches, so you can mount two side by side in a 19-inch rack using a separately available Unite mount.
