General

The Golden Age Audio PRE-73 MKIV is a beautiful 'colour box'. This is due to the Carnhill transformer, which provides full and punchy lows and silky highs. So the number '73' doesn't come out of the blue. This preamp is inspired by the famous Neve 1073 mic pre. Besides the characterful preamp, you can use the high pass filter and Air Boost to further flavour the sound. The PRE-73 MKIV fits in a 19-inch rack. Two fit side by side using a separately available Unite mount.
