Apogee Duet Mac and iOS Audio and MIDI Interface
Product no: 9000-0005-3041
Bax Music Warranty:
This product comes with a 3-year warranty.
General
Apogee's Duet is an advanced, high-grade MIDI and audio interface for use with your Mac or iOS device. Built with quality electric circuits, this interface allows the seamless transfer of incoming signals to your system, without loss of quality. The energy-efficient OLED screen lets you clearly read incoming and outgoing signal strengths and check settings. Via the rotary knob and two configurable touch buttons, you can easily adjust settings. When you buy the Duet, Apogee will give you a huge discount on Waves Plugin bundles!
Professional Recording
The Duet is a professional product made with the very best materials and engineering expertise to deliver perfect results with minimal latency and maximum signal quality. It's compatible with the latest Apple products and a phantom power supply option allows for professional studio recordings with condenser mics.
Versatile USB Technology
Since a USB 3.0 would not ensure speedier transfers on this device because that would only mean that the bandwidth increases and a USB2.0 already exceeds the required bandwidth of this device, the Duet uses a USB2.0 port to achieve high-speed data transfers. Power and MIDI transfers to your Mac are done via USB. However, if you connect the Duet to a portable Apple device, a power adapter is required, which will simultaneously charge your device.

Apogee, primarily known for their high-end interfaces for Apple computers, have raised the bar with the release of the Symphony, Ensemble thunderbolt and Groove interfaces. With the release of the respective Element 24, 46 en 88, Apogee offers us a trifecta of Thunderbolt audio interfaces that are more than meets the eye. The Element series is a powerful one, and is not a trio to be trifled with.
